YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Two Puerto Rico natives who now live in Yuma continue to express concern for the people of their homeland.
Pedro Torres, 56, has lived through and survived Hurricane George and Maria.
About 20 years after Hurricane George and five after Maria, Fiona has slammed Puerto Rico.
All three hurricanes occuring around the time, in September.
Torres said if the government knows this is the prime time for hurricanes, he questions why they didn’t do more to prepare.
Jennifer Gonzalez-White is another native of Puerto Rico and shares her grievances.
